Service Works renews SDN Organisational Accreditation
Service Design Network Organisational Accreditation for Service Works
We’re proud to share that Service Works has successfully renewed its Organisational Accreditation from the Service Design Network (SDN), extending our accredited status until June 2028. 🥳
This re-accreditation means we can continue to offer a recognised pathway to SDN Practitioner Accreditation, giving participants in our Service Design in Practice and Introduction to Service Design courses the opportunity to gain formal recognition for their skills.
Service Works is one of only two Accredited Organisations providing service design training in the UK and the only one focused on working with government and not-for-profit organisations.
We were especially pleased to receive such thoughtful and generous feedback from the SDN Accreditation Committee.
“It was impressive to see how Jo has developed Service Works on personal, professional, and organisational levels since our last accreditation meeting.”
“Her growth in the field of service design and the public sector through talks, blog posts, and initiatives… helps service design gain recognition in areas that are not yet naturally engaged in service design.”
SDN also recognised Service Works commitment to collaboration and knowledge sharing, both of which are central to how we work:
“It is an asset that Jo collaborates with new partners, learning from them while sharing her knowledge.”
“The cases she has worked on are extremely interesting... It would be great to share some of these cases in the SDN Case Study Library.”
We’re grateful for the opportunity to continue contributing to a global community that believes in the power of service design to improve lives.
“We look forward to collaborating with you and continuously growing the community, the knowledge base and the practice of service design.”
A big thank you to SDN president Birgit Mager, Chicago chapter lead Thomas Brandenburg, and Carolina Corona from the accreditation team, as well as to all the public and third-sector professionals who trust us with their learning.
We’ll keep working to ensure our courses reflect the highest standards in the field and the realities of service design and delivery in public and third sector services.
There are three main ways to become an accredited service designer in the UK, and we wrote a blog post about that! 👇
